- ISRO Chief Somnath visited Somnath in Gujarat

- The names of the astronauts have not been released, but they are being trained at the Astronauts Training Center near Bengaluru.

Bengaluru, New Delhi: After the success of Chandrayaan, Isro is now preparing for 'Gaganayaan'. ISRO has also selected 'astronauts' for that. Although the space agency has not said anything about this, but a video of the Indian Air Force is giving an indication of this. The IAF has released a video on its 91st anniversary on micro blogging platform "X" (formerly Twitter). In this 11-minute video, the achievements of the Air Force are described. Importantly, this video also shows glimpses of 3 Air Force personnel. Who has been selected for 'Gaganyan'. The three are seen making preparations to leave.

However, for security reasons, Astronauts' names or other identities have not been released. ISRO has said that all facilities are available at the Astronauts Training Facility near Bengaluru. Modules for astronauts include educational curriculum, spacecraft flight systems, introduction to microgravity through parabolic flights, aeromedical training, reentry and rehabilitation training, familiarization with flight procedures, manoeuvrability training, and simulator training.

Apart from that, aeromedical training, aerial flying studies and yoga are also included. Most importantly, ISRO emphasizes human security in this mission. The space agency further states that many modern technologies are being developed along with this.

The Gaganyaan mission is expected to be launched in 2024. With it, India will be the fourth country to send a human into space. Russia, America and China are in this list. First the unmanned Gaganyaan will be sent, then the Gaganyaan with space for 3 astronauts will be sent to a 400 km orbit during its 3-day mission.

Meanwhile, 'ISRO' has received good news about Chandrayaan that its 'payload' is still working. Isro Chief Somnath has said that Chandrayaan-3's rover 'Pragyana' has done the job that was hoped for. In a press conference where Somnath went to visit the Somnath Temple in Gujarat, he said, 'Now ISRO is preparing to send X-PO Set' or X-ray polarimeter satellite. It will be placed in space in November or December.

Efforts will be made to activate Chandrayaan-3's solar-powered lander Vikram and rover 'Pragyan' as it 'sunrises' over the moon.

After Chandrayaan, Surya Mission has also received good news. ISRO's Aditya L-1 is traveling more than 9.2 lakh km from Earth. It is currently finding its way to Sun-Earth, Langage Point-1 (L-1). It has now moved beyond the Earth's 'sphere of influence'. This happened for the first time during the Mars Orbiter Mission.

The mission, in addition to spectroscopic analysis of sunlight, will obtain in-situ measurements of its three plasma fields and magnetic field. The Aditya L-1 has two main payloads. After reaching the Visible Emission Line Coronagraphy (VELC) and Solar Ultraviolet Imaging Telescope (SUIT) language points, it will send 1,440 images per day.
