Curfew has been imposed after Communal Riots broke out in Nepalganj area of Nepal.
According to Bipin Acharya, Chief District Officer of Nepalgunj, curfew has been imposed for the safety of the people. Gathering of people has also been banned.
Nepalgunj area is adjacent to the Indian border and due to this red alert has been declared in the border areas in UP as well. According to Nepali press reports, incidents of communal Riots have increased within Nepal in the past few months and curfews have been imposed frequently due to this. The growing threat among Hindu Muslims has increased the tension of the security agencies. It is said that a video of beef eating went viral on social media and riots broke out due to it.
After that, a rally was organized for Gauraksha by gathering people from Koshi province. Meanwhile violence broke out and stone pelting started. However, no casualties have been reported so far.
Earlier, communal riots also broke out in Malangwa and Sarlahi areas during the immersion of Lord Ganesha. In which a young man was also a victim of gambling. After this incident, efforts were also made to close the shops.
