The allegations they were making were not in line with our policy. We provided information on terrorist activities on Canadian soil. But Canada did not share any specific information with India. Canada has become a safe haven for terrorist activities. They need to think about their international impression. The biggest issue is terrorism funded and supported by Canada and Pakistan. According to Trudeau, there is evidence that an Indian agent was involved in the killing of Nijjar. However, this claim of Trudeau is proving to be a myth, as no such evidence has been handed over to India from Canada yet.

Conflict with Canada has been going on for many years: Jaishankar

He gave a very extraordinary agreement to India-Russia relations and said that the relations between the two countries have been very stable. India declared Nijjar as a terrorist: Jaishankar

He said that Trudeau has alleged the possible involvement of Indian agents in the June 18 Nijjar killings in British Columbia, raising tensions between India and Canada. India declared Nijjar as a terrorist (Khalistani terrorist) in 2020. India has dismissed Trudeau's allegations as baseless and motivated by personal interests. He retaliated by suspending an Indian official from Canada in this matter and suspended a senior Canadian ambassador from India.
