- China does not understand the growing importance of India

Western Countries along with the US and the UK are avoiding saying anything directly about the ongoing tension between India and Canada over the killing of a terrorist Nigerien. No country, including America, wants any sharp comment about India emerging as the world's fifth largest economy and a major power. On the other hand, they also have a strategic partnership with Canada. It cannot be denied that Western agencies have not been involved in the entire Niger issue but no other country has directly accused India. China does not understand this. Seeing the silence of the western countries, the Chinese media is furious and accusing them of their own selfish achievement.

China's mouthpiece Global Times wrote that this is a double attitude of Western countries. If these countries were not friends of India, they would not have hesitated for a minute to accuse and condemn the 'violation of human rights'. This collective silence of the Western countries shows that their alliances are also not strong. No one's rules and morals matter before America's interests. According to the Chinese media, it has not been clarified which of the Five Ice Alliance countries gave input to Canada regarding the killing of Niger.

According to the Chinese media, Western countries are caught in a dilemma. On the one hand, Canada is their closest ally, on the other hand, it occupies an important position in the strategy of the Indo-Pacific region. US, UK and Australia are befriending India to isolate Russia and contain China. Chinese media also posted a picture of US Secretary of State Anthony Blinken on social media platform X. In which he was accompanied by the foreign ministers of Japan and India.

After the Prime Minister of Canada made baseless accusations against India regarding the killing of Nijjar, India has also given a strong response. India first expelled the Canadian ambassador and India has subsequently suspended visas for Canadian citizens. On the other hand, China is not digesting the increasing importance of India and it is lashing out at the western countries.
