Minarets of three prayer places of Ahmadis were demolished in Pakistan's Punjab

( PTI) Lahore ,dt. 18

There have been renewed attacks against the Ahmadi Community in Pakistan. The minarets of three mosques belonging to minorities in different districts of Pejab province have been demolished. According to fundamentalists, these minarets made it look like a Muslim mosque.

It is worth mentioning that even before S week, the prayer place of Ahmadi community was demolished. It may be mentioned that in 1984 the High Court had banned damaging the places of worship of the minority community. The places of worship of the Ahmadi community are being targeted in violation of the High Court order.

It is worth mentioning that the Parliament of Pakistan declared the Ahmadi community as non-Muslims in 1974. They are banned from identifying themselves as Muslims.

Amari Mehmood of Jamaat Ahmadiyya Pakistan told reporters that the activists of Tehreek Labbaik Pakistan (TLP) had attacked and demolished three Ahmadi prayer places in Sheikhpura , Bahawalnagar and Bahawalpur districts of Punjab, considering the minarets of Ahmadi prayer places as Muslim mosque minarets.

Along with this, the number of attacks on Ahmadi community has increased to 31 in the current year. Mehmood said that the situation is getting worse day by day for the Ahmadi community in Pakistan.
