Khalistanis scrawled anti-India slogans on Delhi Metro stations

Amidst the preparations for G-20, there is a desire to spoil the atmosphere in Delhi

Delhi to turn into impenetrable security cordon with NSG commandos, 1,000 personnel, 300 bulletproof vehicles for G20 meeting

New Delhi: Preparations are going on in full swing for the G-20 meeting to be held in the capital Delhi in the next fortnight. Security is being strengthened in Delhi with impenetrable fortifications. In such a situation, the banned Khalistani terrorist organization Sikh for Justice (SFJ) has tried to spoil the atmosphere by writing anti-India slogans like 'Delhi Banega Khalistan', 'Khalistan Zindabad' on several metro stations in Delhi. The police have registered a case and taken legal action in this matter.

When the G-20 meeting is to be held in Delhi between September 9 and 10, the terrorist organization SFJ, which has created controversy on the issue of Khalistan for some time in the country and the world, ran around writing anti-India slogans at several metro stations on Sunday morning despite tight security arrangements. Pro-Khalistan slogans were written in black paint on many places including the walls of several metro stations in Delhi. After this incident, the local district teams including the special cell of Delhi Police were alerted.

Delhi Police said that supporters of Sikhs for Justice (SFJ) allegedly wrote controversial slogans like 'Delhi Banega Khalistan', 'Khalistan Jindabad', 'Khalistan Janmat Sanghar Jindabad' on the walls of metro stations in Delhi. As soon as the information about this matter was received, the Delhi Police has washed and cleaned the walls. Also legal action has been initiated in this case.

Metro stations where anti-India slogans were written by the SFJ included Shivaji Park on the Green Line corridor, Madipur, Paschim Vihar, Udyog Nagar, Maharaja Surajmal Stadium, Punjabi Bagh, Nangloi Metro Station and Sarvodaya Bal Vidyalaya in Nangloi, Delhi Police said. .

Deputy Commissioner of Police (Metro) G. Ram Gopal Naik said that these slogans were raised early on Sunday morning when metro train services and stations were closed. A case has been registered under IPC and other legal sections in connection with this incident. After examining the CCTV footage, teams have been formed to identify the suspects who painted the walls and arrest them. Strict action will be taken against them.

On the other hand, in a viral video on social media, SFJ chief Gurpatwantsinh Pannu, who lives abroad, has taken responsibility for the incident. In the video, he can be heard saying that the battle of G20 in India's Pragati Maidan has started from today. True Khalistanis have written slogans on metro stations in Delhi and it is a message to all G20 countries. The authenticity of this video could not be verified. Meanwhile, when the G-20 meeting is being organized on September 9 to 10, the heads of state and top officials of more than 30 countries and heads of 14 international organizations will start arriving in Delhi from next week.

50 teams of about 1,000 CRPF personnel will be deployed in Delhi for the security of the G-20 meeting. Apart from this, more than 300 bulletproof vehicles are being prepared. These soldiers will walk in the VIP routes of foreign heads of state and heads of government and they will also be deployed for the security of many places. These jawans will be trained till September 3.

Apart from this, hundreds of NSG commandos will also be deployed on the roads from the airport to meeting halls and hotels in Delhi. Foreign guests will start arriving in Delhi from September 7. Accommodation has been arranged for these guests in 23 hotels in Delhi and 9 hotels in NCR.

Meanwhile, 19 countries and the European Union will participate in the G-20 conference, in which 9 countries will join as guests while a dozen international organizations will also participate in the meeting. For all this, 32 fleets of cars will be taken out on September 9 and 10. The US, France, Turkey, China, UAE and the European Union will bring their own cars in this fleet, the US fleet will be the largest with 60 cars while China has sought permission for a fleet of 45 cars while the government wants to allow 25-30 cars. Thus, there is still confusion regarding the Chinese fleet.
