India will not come to G-20 summit: Russian President Vladimir Putin, Kremlin confirms

Russian President Vladimir Putin will not attend the G-20 summit in Delhi next month. Kremlin spokesman Dmitry Peskov confirmed this. He said that Putin is not planning a trip to India for the G-20 summit in September. Right now his main focus is on 'Special Military Operations'. Let it be known that a fierce war is going on between Moscow and Kiev since 24 February 2022.

The G-20 Summit is going to be held in India in September this year, preparations for which are in full swing. India extended invitations to all G20 member countries, invitees and leaders of international organizations in connection with the conference.

Earlier, Putin did not even attend the BRICS summit in Johannesburg, South Africa. He virtually addressed the 15th BRICS Summit. The International Criminal Court (ICC) has indicted Putin for war crimes, genocide and the forcible transfer of children to Ukraine. It is believed that this is why Putin did not attend the BRICS summit to avoid arrest.

India is currently hosting the G-20. The Group is an intergovernmental forum of the world's major developed and developing economies. These members represent approximately 85 percent of global GDP, more than 75 percent of global trade, and nearly two-thirds of the world's population. This group includes Argentina, Australia, Brazil, Canada, China, France, Germany, India, Indonesia, Italy, Japan, Republic of Korea, Mexico, Russia, Saudi Arabia, South Africa, Turkey, UK, US and the European Union.
