Another tangle in the INDIA alliance: After Kejriwal, Akhilesh Yadav also had objections over seat sharing.

- In the 24th election, cracks have already started to appear in the 26 opposition parties that are in the field to overthrow the BJP-led NDA.

Lucknow, New Delhi: Lok Sabha Elections 2024 are approaching. A coalition of 26 opposition parties- INDIA coalition has come to the fray to defeat the NDA coalition led by the BJP. So far two of its meetings have been held in Patna and Bengaluru. The next meeting is to be held in Mumbai. But from the beginning, cracks started appearing in that alliance.

Addressing a rally held in Chhattisgarh, Delhi Chief Minister and National Coordinator of 'AAP' Arvind Kejriwal said that he does not want to make any compromise regarding the seats in the five states where assembly elections are to be held between the end of 23rd and 24th, then the Lok Sabha elections are to be held in 2024.

After this, Akhilesh Yadav, the SP president and a leading political leader of UP, said that in the last Lok Sabha Elections, his party won no. 1 or no. They are going to put their candidates on all the seats that were left in place of 2.

Addressing a rally in Ferozabad, he said: 'In UP where we have no. 1 or no. 2 were above, this time also we will contest the (Lok Sabha) elections there. We will drop our candidates on number 2 too.'

He further said that, 'till now there has been no discussion about the distribution of seats in the INDIA alliance.'

From these statements of Akhilesh, the question arises that the SP, which fought with the Congress in the state assembly elections held in 2017, will allocate how many seats out of 80 to the Congress in the 24th Lok Sabha elections?

Against this, observers say that Congress is the only national party among all the opposition parties. It is difficult to keep it 'aside', time will tell how successful the SP is during the Lok Sabha polls.
