- A serious warning from the former president of Russia
- Ukraine-is a terrorist nation: it must be broken into pieces: Western support for Ukraine will eventually end: Medvedev
Moscow: The former President of Russia and Deputy Chairman of its Security Council, Dmitry Medvedev, said that the ongoing war between Moscow and Kiev will continue for decades. Eventually the West will die out. This war may last for years or decades but Russia has no other option than war.
The veteran politician said in a Telegram Post article that this war could go on for years or even decades, whatever happens but we have no other option. Either we end their hostile political regime or they tear Russia itself to pieces. This situation is undesirable for all parties.
With this they once again wrote that if Russia loses the war, the West will also perish. Medvedev further wrote that no one wants it. But basically Ukraine is a terrorist nation. So Russia wants to dismember it to such an extent that it cannot be put back together. This war is a war of survival for Russia. Western support for Ukraine will also eventually dissolve. Because it affects the West's own interests.
Medvedev further wrote: For them (the West) this is an unknown war. In which a war is going on between people totally unknown to them. Even those who are dying are strangers to him. They do not feel any pain for them. The West will not go beyond the point where their interests are severely hurt. For anyone else's fight ends up being a headache, expensive and irrelevant.
Notably, Holland and Denmark agreed to provide F-16 aircraft to Ukraine after the US gave permission, and Ukrainian President Zelensky called those agreements historic. Medvedev then clarified this view in an article in his Telegram post.
