According to reports from sources, the fire started in an auto repair shop located along the highway and soon spread to a nearby gas station with explosions. Due to which the gas station was engulfed in fierce fire. Due to this fire, a one-storey building was also burnt to ashes. 12 people died and more than 60 people were injured in the fire. Regarding this incident, a Dagestan governor, Sergey Melikov, said that this incident happened in the morning. According to a local news agency, firefighters were immediately dispatched to the scene as soon as the fire was reported. After about three and a half hours of effort, the fire department brought the fire under control. According to further reports of the incident, 13 children were among the injured. The fire had spread in an area of ​​600 square meters.
