Washington: Two people have died due to sudden hail and heavy Storm in America. Thousands of flights have been canceled due to this storm. The local meteorological department has also issued an alert regarding this and asked people to be alert. More than 11 lakh people's homes have been blacked out due to disruption of power supply.
The National Weather Service for Greater D.C. A tornado watch was issued for the area which remained in effect till 9 pm. A special weather service statement warned that damaging and locally destructive storms are a major threat. There is also a possibility of large hail and a strong thunderstorm.

More than 2,600 flights were canceled and about 7,900 were delayed late Monday night, according to flight tracking service FlightAware. Several flight routes have been diverted.
