Former President of Brazil Jair Bolsonaro is also seen to be involved in the Toshakha case like former Prime Minister of Pakistan Imran Khan.

Like Imran, he has also sold the gifts received as president for crores of rupees. Instead of depositing this amount in the treasury of the country, he kept it in his pocket. Among the gifts he sold were two Watches. The price of which is in crores of rupees.

These watches were gifted to him by Saudi Arabia. By selling which he collected 70000 dollars i.e. about 6 crore rupees. Brazil's federal Police are now investigating the allegations against the former president. Police have also raided the houses of his colleagues involved in the case. It also includes a four-star army general.

Bolsonaro, however, has denied the allegations. The police have asked him for his bank account details. The Brazilian police is also seeking the help of the American agency FBI to investigate this matter. Several cases are already underway against Bolsonaro.

According to the police, the money that came after the sale of the watches went directly to the goldsmiths instead of being deposited in the banks through middlemen. Four-star general Lt. Col. Mauro Cid sold the watches to an Americana store in 2022.
