New York: A popular American Social Media Streamer was arrested on Friday. He has been accused of inciting riots. Carlo Senat organized a video game console giveaway at an event at Manhattan's Union Square Park. There was chaos as thousands gathered in this event.
Along with the riots, a livestreamer, Kai Carlo Senat, was charged with unlawful assembly and other crimes. Police Department Chief Jeffrey Medray said during a press conference late Friday night.
It was not clear who made the crowd uncontrollable, but around 3:30 pm people were seen throwing garbage at the police. Witnesses reported seeing others throwing chairs and bottles.
During his live stream on Wednesday, Senat told fans that PS-5 will be awarded to those who correctly answer questions related to YouTube and streaming. About 3,000 people had gathered in the park in search of gifts.
