Kim Jong Un's new decree: Ban on speaking South Korean in North Korea

North Korean dictator Kim Jong Un is always in the news because of his decisions. He continues to enforce new decrees for his countrymen. Now Kim Jong Un has announced to ban the people of his country from speaking South Korean Language. With this, anyone speaking the South Korean language in North Korea can be punished up to death. The dictator has announced such a decree.

Puppet language is spoken in South Korea. Generally North Koreans also use this language. However, now he has to pay with his life for the loss of speaking puppet language. According to a report, anyone in North Korea caught using the South's puppet language or vocabulary could face prison or the death penalty under the Pyongyang Cultural Language Protection Law.

Many people are used to using the South Korean language, said a resident of the northwestern province of North Pyongan. In such a situation, this decree of the dictator has become a threat to his life. They are now practicing speaking the North Korean language and getting rid of the South Korean language. He is afraid that South Korean words will accidentally come out of his mouth and he will be punished.

North Korean women cannot call themselves or their boyfriends 'jagiya' or 'oppa'. The report claims that they will have to use 'dongji' instead. North Koreans should also avoid using South Korean words in English such as 'paesyeon' (fashion), 'hyesutel' (hairstyle) and 'wipyu' (wife). Saying 'I love you' openly is also a proof that he has watched South Korean movies. In such a situation they may have to face punishment.
