Cricket is a gentleman's game but often there are fights and arguments in street cricket. A shocking incident has taken place in Kanpur, Uttar Pradesh, in which a bowler was killed by a clean bowler to a batsman. The batsman, who was upset at being cleanly bowled, started beating him and finally strangulated him to death. After the murder, the man fled from the spot.
After this incident, the relatives of the deceased came to the cricket ground and created a ruckus, the police entered. The police took possession of the body and sent it for postmortem. The incident took place in Rehti Khalsa Village of Kotwali area of Ghatampur. According to information, on Monday, a 15-year-old boy named Sachin was playing a cricket match with his team in a field near the farm. A bet of 10 rupees was made between the two teams. A young man named Hargovind, who lived in the village of Rehti Khalsa, was batting. At the opposite end, Sachin was bowling for the opposing team.
Bowler Sachin challenged the batsman to dismiss Hargovind in just three balls. According to this challenge, the batsman could not control his anger while bowling the third ball cleanly. Hargovind along with his brother Brijesh started beating the bowler Sachin. Batham collapsed in the bath after suffocating. Injured Sachin was declared brought dead by doctors on duty while being admitted to the hospital. This incident created a sensation in Rehti Khalsa village. Police has formed a team of three police personnel to arrest the accused.
