Incidents of aircraft malfunctions are on the rise. Indigo's Delhi-Dehradun Flight made an emergency landing at Delhi IGI airport due to engine failure.

According to information available, all the passengers on board this flight are safe. The Indigo flight took off from Delhi to Dehradun in Uttarakhand on June 21, but the flight turned back shortly after.

IndiGo issued a statement saying that the flight (Delhi to Dehradun) returned to Delhi due to a technical fault. The pilot informed ATC as per procedure and requested for priority landing. However, the plane landed safely in Delhi. Incidents of aircraft malfunctions are on the rise. In the same month, another IndiGo flight made an emergency landing immediately after its takeoff.
