Adipurush has released on the big screen, but has brought with it a hive of controversies. It is alleged that the Film Mariya Purushottam mocks the original spirit of Ram and Ramayana. A petition has been filed in the Delhi High Court seeking the removal of some parts of the film. Amidst all this, Chhattisgarh Chief Minister Bhupesh Baghel has hinted to ban the film in the state. Along with this he alleged that the language of Bajrang Dal has been invoked from the Bajrang Bali of Adipurush.
I read and heard about 'Adipurush'. It is very painful that finally how the Censor Board has given a certificate to such a film which is playing with our faith, making fun of our idols.

The central government will have to answer this.

Chief Minister Bhupesh Baghel made this allegation
Chief Minister Bhupesh Baghel on Saturday alleged that there was an attempt to tarnish the image of Lord Ram and Lord Hanuman in the film 'Adipurush'. He said that the Congress government can consider banning it in the state if people demand it. He alleged that the film's dialogues are objectionable and vulgar.
'Attempt to change image'
According to the report, when asked by reporters if the state government would ban the film, Baghel said, "If people raise a demand in this direction, the government will think about it. An attempt is being made to tarnish the image of all our gods. We want the soft faces of Lord Ram and Lord Hanuman Bhakti has been seen but for the last few years, efforts are being made to change this image.
'Rama and Hanuman depicted as angry birds'
Baghel said that Hanuman has been portrayed as a symbol of knowledge, power and devotion since childhood, but the film portrays Lord Rama as a 'yuddhaka' (warrior). Rama and Hanuman are depicted as angry birds. Neither our forefathers envisioned such an image of Lord Hanuman nor does our society accept it."
'The language of Bajrang Dal was invoked near Bajrang Bali'
The CM alleged that the film has invoked the language of Bajrang Dal to Lord Bajrang Bali. He said, "Why are people from political parties who claim to be protectors of religion silent on this film? Why are BJP leaders who made statements on 'The Kashmir Files' and 'The Kerala Story' silent on 'Adipurush'? Why are they not saying anything?"
