The All India Institute of Medicine (AIIMS) in the national capital New Delhi was again Cyber-attacked today. The cyber security system reported the malware attack at 2.30 pm. In this regard, AIIMS said that the malware attack attempts have been successfully thwarted and the threat has been removed in time. According to reports, e-hospital services were affected shortly before the cyber attack was thwarted.
AIIMS released a statement on the issue of cyber attack
The AIIMS administration has confirmed that this cyber attack has been thwarted. A statement issued by AIIMS said that cyber security systems detected the malware attack at AIIMS, New Delhi at 2.50 pm. The attempt was successfully thwarted and the threat was neutralized by the cyber security system. E-hospital services are completely secure and functioning normally, Ames said.
Rajeev Chandrasekhar, Minister of State for Electronics and Information Technology, tweeted about this cyber attack and said that there was no problem in the Ains system. AIIMS e-hospital is an internal app and is not available for internet users. Someone tried to enter this portal, but the attempt was foiled due to the vigilance of AIIMS's security system. The same person may have taken a screenshot of the error message and circulated it. He said that there was no incident of cyber attack or breach. The error message has also been fixed.
A few days ago there was a cyber attack
Just a few days ago, AIIMS Delhi became a victim of a cyber attack, after which the online services of the hospital were affected. Hospitalized patients faced many problems during this cyber attack. Once again the cyber attack attempt has been foiled.
