Amarnath Dham is one of the major pilgrimage sites of Hindus. It is believed that the darshan of Baba Barfani, the holy Shiv Linga of Amarnath, fulfills one's wishes. Every year lakhs of devotees arrive here to have darshan of Baba Barfani located in the cave. Although there is still a month left for the start of the Amarnath Yatra, the preparations for the Yatra are going on in full swing. In such a situation, pictures of Shivlinga from the holy Amarnath cave have been released. In these pictures the natural himling on the cave has become full size.
Along with the holy Shivlinga, Himastimba, the symbol of Mother Parvati and Ganesha, can also be seen in full size in the released pictures.
With a month left for the official start of the Amarnath Yatra, officials and security forces have reached the cave.
