According to the Election Commission, the exact picture will be revealed by around 2 pm. Talking about the initial trends, in Karnataka, which has 224 assembly seats, the initial trends of counting of votes are showing a strong fight between the Congress and the BJP. In the trends of 210 seats so far, Congress and BJP are seen to be leading on equal seats. Congress is ahead in the initial trend with 115 seats while BJP is leading in 78 seats. While JDS seems to be getting lead in 15 seats. Then only 2 seats are coming in the account of others. It is worth mentioning that most of the exit polls show a clash between Congress and BJP. However, JDS is shown in the role of kingmaker.

Congress aims for 2024 Lok Sabha elections...

Buoyed by popular support for Prime Minister Modi, the BJP aims to break the 38-year-old tradition that the incumbent party has not been re-elected to power in Karnataka since 1985. The Congress, on the other hand, is looking at this victory as an attempt to strengthen its position as the primary opposition contender in the upcoming 2024 Lok Sabha Elections.

JDS can become kingmaker...

JDS hopes to be the kingmaker in Karnataka once again. 5 out of 10 exit polls are expecting a hung assembly, meaning the government cannot be formed without the JDS. In the poll of polls, there are indications that BJP will get 91 seats, Congress 108 and JDS 22 and others 3 seats.
