Lord Venkateswara enthroned in Tirupati, Andhra Pradesh will soon give darshan to his devotees in Jammu as well. The doors of the grand Temple under construction in Jammu-Srinagar will be opened after the ritual puja.
The temple is being constructed by the Tirumala Tirupati Devasthanam Board. 33.22 crore rupees will be spent on the huge temple which will be built in two phases on about 62 acres of land. Apart from the main temple of Lord Venkateswara, the complex will also have shrines of Sri Andal and Sri Padmavati. The construction work of the temple is going on in the final stage. The doors of the grand temple under construction at Majin village of Siddha on the Jammu-Srinagar National Highway will be opened for the devotees on June 8 after a formal puja.
A magnificent idol will be brought from Andhra Pradesh
The idol of Lord Venkateswara to be installed in the main temple is being specially brought from Andhra Pradesh. More than 50 artisans are involved in the construction of the temple. The stone used in the construction of the temple is brought only from Karnataka and Andhra Pradesh.
Manoj Sinha will inaugurate the temple
Tirumala Tirupati Devasthanam Board Chairman YV Subba Reddy said that the temple inauguration program will start from June 4. The temple gates will be opened for devotees on June 8. Tirupati Balaji Temple will be inaugurated by Lt. Governor Manoj Sinha. Tirupati Balaji Temple will also develop as a spiritual center in Jammu and Kashmir.
Tirupati Balaji temple will be in every state
Tirumala Tirupati Devasthanam Board Chairman YV Subba Reddy while inspecting the ongoing construction during his visit to Jammu announced that a temple of Lord Venkateswara would be established in every state. After Andhra Pradesh, this temple will be built in Jammu-Kashmir, Hyderabad, Delhi, Kanyakumari, Chinani, Bhubaneswar and similar temples will also be built in Mumbai, Raipur and Ahmedabad.
