The wrestlers have been protesting since April 23

In January this year, following protests led by some of the country's leading wrestlers, the Sports Ministry announced the formation of a 'monitoring committee' to look into the allegations leveled against Wrestling Federation of India chief Brijbhushan Sharan Singh and other coaches. The committee was tasked to submit a report on the issue to the ministry. Due to the delay in the reports, the wrestlers started protesting at the Jantar-Mantar from April 23.
