Everyone was shocked to hear the news of actress Jia Khan's death. Zia Khan committed suicide on 3 June 2013. Jia Khan wrote a large letter before his suicide. The actress' mother accused her boyfriend Sooraj Pancholi of abetting the murder following which he was arrested. However, Suraj Pancholi is currently out on bail. Today the final verdict has come in this matter. He has been acquitted by a special CBI Court. The court gave this verdict due to lack of evidence.

Jiah Khan's mother applied for a re-investigation

In this matter, the actor was fined 50 thousand and his passport was confiscated. The court had said in the hearing on July 2 that Sooraj Jia is not an accused in the suicide case. Jiah Khan's mother had filed a petition in the High Court to investigate the matter in depth.

The bail application was rejected

The actor was arrested under Section 306 after a six-page letter was found at Jiah Khan's house. On June 21, 2013, Sooraj's bail application was rejected. He was released on bail on 1 July 2013.
