Pakistan: Bomb blast in Quetta's Kandhari market, 4 killed


- The injured were taken to the hospital by ambulance for treatment

Islamabad, dt. 10 April 2023, Monday

A huge bomb blast has taken place in Pakistan, which is considered to be the hideout of terrorists. A bomb has exploded in Kandhari Market of Quetta in Pakistan. Four people have died and 11 people have been injured in this blast. According to the information received, a large number of people gathered in the market for Eid shopping. Police administration is present at the blast site. The injured are being taken to hospital by ambulance for treatment.

According to the information received, a police vehicle was targeted and blasted in Kandhari market. Police officer Shafqat Cheema, giving preliminary information, said that four people died on the spot in the attack.

Terrorists have been targeting the police for a long time

In Pakistan, the terrorist organization Tehreek-e-Taliban Pakistan (TTP) is constantly targeting the police. In February, TTP militants targeted policemen and detonated explosives near police lines in Quetta. In which five people were injured. On the other hand, earlier a terrorist of TTP carried out a suicide attack in a mosque in Peshawar in which more than 100 people were killed.


The blast took place on Saturday too

Earlier on Saturday too, there had been an explosion in which at least two soldiers were killed. It was an Improvised Explosive Device (IED) blast.
