The court of Uttar Pradesh has given an important decision today. Mirjapur Additional Sessions Judge Vayu Nandan Mishra sentenced five policemen to five years imprisonment for falsely framing innocent people. Along with this, a fine of Rs 59 thousand has also been imposed. And said that if he does not pay the fine, he will have to suffer another six-month additional punishment.

The court has ordered that 50 percent of the fine will be given to the victim's family. The accused include then Inspector Amarendra Kant Singh, then Constable Ram Sinhasan Singh, Dinanath Singh, Ramchal Ojha and then Constable Driver Dinesh Bahadur Singh.
Rampati committed suicide by setting himself on fire
According to the complaint, the police abused Bhola Tiwari's mother Rampati and used vulgar language. And also beat him. Rampati, who was saddened, sprinkled kerosene on his body and set it on fire in front of the police. When Rampati started burning, the policemen ran away and Rampati died in this incident.
The police refused to file a complaint
After this incident, Bhola Tiwari's brother Subhash went to the police station to complain about this but the police did not take his complaint. So she complained to the then Minister of State for Social Affairs and Women's Welfare. After that, Minister Premalata Katiyar handed over the investigation of the case to the Director General of Police on 30 November 1992. On December 9, 1992, the Crime Branch of the Additional Directorate General of Police conducted further investigation. After taking the statement, the charge sheet was sent to the court.
What was the case of the whole case
Based on the complaint dt. On August 24, 1992, the police visited the house of Bhola Tiwari, a resident of Virohi village under Vindhyachal police station, and threatened him, accusing him of dealing in illegal ganja. According to the police, Bhola Tiwari climbed on the roof of the house with a sack after seeing the policeman. He then threw the sack down from the house and escaped by jumping from the roof. The police seized ganja from the sack found at the scene and registered a case against him.
