China's clear warning to Taiwan against repeated provocations

- 'Don't cross the red-line' China told America

- Taiwan President Tsai-Ing-wen to visit US to meet current US House Speaker Kevin McCars

TAIPEI: Tensions between Taiwan's democratically elected government and communist China have been on the rise for the past three years. Because Communist China is forcing Taiwan to accept its sovereignty both politically and militarily.

On the other hand, Taiwan has decided not to budge at all.

Relations between the two countries have been on the rise since then US House of Representatives Speaker Nancy Pelosi visited Taipei in August last year, as China considers Taiwan a province of its own.

In it, Taiwan's President Tsai Ing-wen has decided to meet the current chairman of the American House of Representatives, Kevin McCarthy, during his visit to the United States in the coming weeks.

China has warned both Taiwan and the United States about this, but Taiwan's Defense Minister Chu Kuo-cheng said that he had no information about the visit. But as clear as it is that the Chinese Communists find any excuse to send in their troops, we have to take a peaceful and rational approach.

With this, he expressed the hope that I would like it not to happen. (Unless China invades) However, Taiwan's troops are ready if that happens.

Chichu further said that we cannot afford repeated provocations. Taiwan President Tsai Ing-wen has yet to make any official announcement regarding her visit to the US. Also McCarthy has kept silent about the meeting with Sai. At that time, Chinese Foreign Minister Qin Geng said in Beijing that 'Taiwan is not a part of China, it is useless to say America.'

Addressing the annual meeting of the Chinese Parliament, Gang said that the Taiwan issue is fundamental to China-US relations. Therefore, I strongly urge the US not to cross the 'red-line' of Sino-US relations.

According to available information, Tsai is scheduled to visit pro-Taiwan nations in the Caribbean and South America, en route to the US (Washington or New York) where she is likely to meet US House of Representatives Speaker Kevin McCarthy.

Observers also believe that Tsai is likely to be accompanied by her defense secretary, and that US defense secretary McCarthy will join McCarthy, as Taiwan plays a 'lockdown' role to prevent China from advancing in the Pacific Ocean.
