CBI remand of Manish Sisodia extended by two days, now hearing will be held on March 10

Liquor scam arrestee Manish Sisodia's 5-day CBI custody ended today and he was produced in court today. Delhi's Rouse Avenue Court today decided on Sisodia's bail plea. Delhi's Rouse Avenue Court sent Manish Sisodia on two-day CBI remand. The matter will now be heard on March 10.

Rouse Avenue Court extends Manish Sisodia's CBI remand by two more days. The CBI sought the court's remand of Manish Sisodia for three more days.

Earlier CBI questioned Manish Sisodia twice

A case was registered by the CBI regarding the Delhi Excise Policy on the complaint of the Lieutenant Governor of Delhi. A total of 15 people were named in this case, including Manish Sisodia. CBI has arrested 4 people including Manish Sisodia in this case. Sisodia resigned as minister on February 28 after the Supreme Court rejected his bail plea. After nearly 8 hours of interrogation, he was arrested by the CBI on February 27 in a liquor scam. The CBI has arrested the AAP leader under Section 7 of the Prevention of Corruption Act on charges of criminal conspiracy and destruction of evidence. Earlier CBI has inquired twice.
