On Tuesday, Deputy CM Manish Sisodia and Satyendra Jain resigned as ministers in the Delhi government.

CM Kejriwal has selected 2 people to make ministers in his cabinet. Kejriwal mentioned the names of AAP MLAs Saurabh Bhardwaj and Atishi to Lt. Governor V.K. Saxena has been sent. The Aam Aadmi Party government is under siege at this time. Manish Sisodia, one of the prominent leaders of AAP, is in CBI remand. In such a situation, only time will tell what effect the decision to bring Saurabh and Atishi into the cabinet will have.

On Tuesday, Deputy CM Manish Sisodia and Satyendra Jain Resigned as ministers in the Delhi government. Both the ministers are currently in the custody of the investigating agencies after which there was pressure on both to resign. Let us tell you that CBI has arrested Manish Sisodia in the Delhi liquor scam on Sunday itself. On the other hand, Satyendra Jain has been lodged in Tihar Jail for the past several months in a chit fund scam. He was arrested by ED.

Chief Minister Arvind Kejriwal has accepted the resignation of these two ministers. Sisodia held 18 of the total 33 ministries in the Delhi government. Out of which Ministry of Finance, Ministry of Home Affairs, Excise and PWD were the main ones. Along with this, Satyendra Jain was handling the health department before his arrest but Manish Sisodia was also looking after the work of this department after his arrest. Jain was currently a minister without any ministry.
