In Maharashtra, the Election Commission gave Uddhav Thackeray's rival Chief Minister Eknath Shinde the Shiv Sena party name and election symbol of a bow and arrow. A day after that on Saturday, former Chief Minister Uddhav Thackeray attacked the Election Commission. He said that the Election Commission has become a slave of PM Modi. He has done something that has never been done before. Uddhav Thackeray targeted Maharashtra Chief Minister Eknath Shinde and said that the party's election symbol has been stolen and the thief needs to be taught a lesson.
