In Maharashtra, the Election Commission gave Uddhav Thackeray's rival Chief Minister Eknath Shinde the Shiv Sena party name and election symbol of a bow and arrow. A day after that on Saturday, former Chief Minister Uddhav Thackeray attacked the Election Commission. He said that the Election Commission has become a slave of PM Modi. He has done something that has never been done before. Uddhav Thackeray targeted Maharashtra Chief Minister Eknath Shinde and said that the party's election symbol has been stolen and the thief needs to be taught a lesson.

Uddhav Thackeray urged his supporters to be patient and prepare for the upcoming elections. It is worth mentioning that BMC elections will be held soon. Meanwhile, Uddhav Thackeray addressed the large crowd. Party workers also staged a power show outside Matoshree, the home of the Thackeray family.

Uddhav Thackeray addressed the workers in the style of father Balthakar

Meanwhile, Uddhav Thackeray was standing outside with the sunroof of his car open. Addressing the people in this way, he followed the tradition of his father Balthakar. Balthakar used to address followers from the roof of his car in the early days of the party. Notably, in a major shock to Uddhav Thackeray, Eknath Shinde on Friday handed over the identity of his party which his father founded in 1966.
