New Delhi, the 13th February, 2023, Sunday

During the Corona epidemic, when the whole world was thinking about their own security, Vimal Pandya of Gujarat, of Indian origin, gained fame by serving free food to around 50 families in Britain. He was also honored by Queen Elizabeth for his work. However, this time he has come into the discussion for some other reason. According to reports, he is facing deportation from Britain after losing his legal battle.

Vimal Pandya came to Britain from India on a study visa in 2011

As soon as the case became public, people came to his support and people in south-east London vowed to fight the case as a beloved member of the community. According to reports, Vimal Pandya came to Britain from India on a Study Visa in 2011. Three years later the UK Home Office revoked their college's right to sponsor overseas students. Pandya, who lives in Rotherhithe, South London, has spent 11 years in the UK. Recently, he lost a hearing in an immigration tribunal and is now in talks with his lawyers for the next fight.

Now look everywhere in support

Now there are demonstrations in their support. More than 1,75,000 people have signed an online petition to reinstate their visas. UK Border Force officials informed him that the college he studies in has lost the right to sponsorship. But the college or home office did not inform him about this. Several petitions were filed in support of Pandya.
