Two Male Mps from the West African country of Senegal have been sentenced to 6 months in prison for assaulting a pregnant MP, Amy Nadia. During the budget session in Parliament, male MPs attacked an opposition religious figure by kicking him in the stomach for criticizing him. A judge there also ordered the payment of 5 million CFA francs to female MP Nadie as compensation to MPs Mamadou Niang and Massata Samb.

This incident has been condemned all over the world. Along with this, a separate discussion has broken out about women's rights all over the world. Even after coming out of the hospital, the condition of the woman MP is critical.

In this video shared on Social Media, MP Sambe is seen walking towards the river during the regular budget debate on December 1 and is seen slapping him. They then retaliate by throwing a chair but that's when another male colleague kicks Nadia in the stomach. Another MP calms down the controversy by falling in between.
