Haryana Zilla Parishad election results are shocking for BJP. On the other hand Aam Aadmi Party has got entry for the first time.Aam Aadmi Party has opened account in areas like Ambala , Sirsa and Yamunanagar inthe Zilla Parishad election results .

The ruling party BJP fielded candidates on 102 Zilla Parishad Seats in seven districts including Ambala ,Yamunanagar ,Gurugram. Out of which BJP has won only 22 seats.

On the other hand, Aam Aadmi Party has won 15 Zilla Parishad seats. These seats have been won in areas likeSirsa , Ambala , Yamunanagar and Jind. The most important seat in it is Ambala cantt. From where the BJP has been winning and it is the home constituency of Union Minister Anil Vij. Here the victory of Aam Aadmi Party is considered important.

Omprakash Chautala's party Indian National Lok Dal contested on 72 seats and won 14. Karan Chotala, son of INEL leader and Elanabad MLA Abhay Chautala, has won from Sirsana Ward No. 6 Zilla Parishad seat.

Among the big leaders who have been defeated in this election, the name of MP Naib Singh Saini's wife from Kurukshetra is also included. He has lost to the independent in ward member four of Ambala. How big a loss they have suffered can be gauged from the fact that they are ranked fourth. Haryana has a total of 22 Zilla Parishads with a total of 411 members. This member elects the presidents of the councils in 22 districts.
