On Saturday, a big revelation came in the murder of Ankita Bhandari, a receptionist of a resort in Uttarakhand. The police found Ankita Bhandari's dead body from a canal near Bodi Chilla Power House. Uttarakhand Police Chief Ashok Kumar says that 19-year-old Ankita was killed by the owner of the resort along with two other employees after she refused to provide 'special service' to the guests at the resort. Police have arrested three people including BJP leader and resort owner Pulkit in this case. Father Vinod Arya has been expelled from BJP after Pulkit's name came up in Ankita's murder.

19-year-old Ankita Bhandari, who worked as a receptionist at a private resort in Yamakeshwar assembly constituency of Paudi Garhwal district of Uttarakhand, was missing from September 18-19. The body of Ankita Bhandari was found when the police and SDRF teams were conducting a search operation in the Shakti canal near the district power house. The police have arrested three people including BJP leader's son Pulkit Arya in this case. All have been sent to judicial custody for 14 days. Since Ankita went missing, Pulik Arya and the manager of the resort were on the run.

Uttarakhand Chief Minister Pushkar Dhami said that the body of daughter Ankita was found this morning. To give severe punishment to the guilty, Deputy Inspector General of Police P. SIT has been formed under the leadership of Renuka Devi. A thorough investigation has been ordered into the case. A bulldozer has been turned over the illegal resort of the accused. Those convicted of this heinous crime will not be spared.

Uttarakhand DGP Ashok Kumar said on Saturday that Ankita Bhandari was forced by the resort owner to provide 'special service' to the guests, which Ankita refused. This information was found from Ankita's Facebook chat with her friend. Ankita's Facebook friend had earlier said that her friend was killed because the owner of the resort where she worked forced her to have sex with guests, which she denied.

Ankita was missing from September 18-19. Resort owner Pulkit Arya told the police that receptionist Ankita Bhandari was staying in a separate room in the resort. She was under mental stress for a few days. So on 18th they took him to Rishikesh. Returned from there late at night. But Ankita disappeared from the morning of 19th September.

On the other hand, Ankita's friend said that Ankita's phone was unreachable after 8.30 pm on the 18th. When he did not get in touch with her despite repeated calls, he called Pulkit Arya who said that she has slept in his room. The next morning he again asked Pulikat and the resort manager Ankit about Ankita. But he did not get a satisfactory answer. Hence he made a special inquiry to Ankita, the chef of the resort. Chef tells him that he has not seen Ankita since last night. Resort owner Pulkit Arya is the son of BJP leader Vinod Arya from Haridwar.

BJP expelled Vinod Arya and his brother Ankit Arya from the party with immediate effect after Pulkit Arya's name came up in Ankita Bhandari's murder. Ankit Arya has also been removed from the commission post. Vinod Arya said that Pulkit has not been living with him for a long time. However, he will fully cooperate with the police in the investigation.
