In Uttar Pradesh's Noida, BJP leader Shrikant Tyagi abused and molested a woman in a posh colony. After the video of the incident went viral on social media, the police filed an FIR against the BJP leader. However, Srikanth Tyagi has escaped in this incident. But the police have detained four people including Tyagi's wife and have also seized four cars of Tyagi. The entire event is from Grand Omax Society, a posh colony in Noida. Srikanth Tyagi describes himself on social media as a member of the national executive of BJP's Khedut Morcha and the national coordinator of the ruling BJP's Yuvan Kisan Samiti. An altercation broke out between Srikanth Tyagi and a woman over trespassing in the park. After that, Tyagi pushed the woman and assaulted her. The woman had objected to the palm tree planted by Srikanth Tyagi, citing society's rules.
After this video went viral and word spread that Tyagi was a bully because he was a renegade BJP leader, the Noida police swung into action. Police registered an FIR against Tyagi. However, since Tyagi has escaped from the society, four teams are formed to find him. Meanwhile, the police have detained four people, including Srikanth Tyagi's wife and driver, and seized four of his cars.
There was a deep reaction on the social media of this incident. As a result, BJP MP from Noida and former Union Minister Mahesh Sharma reached the Grand Omax Society and got information about the incident from the residents of the society. MP Mahesh Sharma said that BJP President JP Nadda and Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath have also taken note of this incident. Police personnel have been ordered to arrest Tyagi within 48 hours.
Meanwhile, BJP says that Srikanth Tyagi has no relation with the party. Party spokesperson Sambit Patra said, Srikanth Tyagi has nothing to do with BJP. Moreover, Rajkumar Chahar, President of BJP Khedut Morcha, also said that Srikant Tyagi is not a member of the National Working Committee of BJP Khedut Morcha. There is no youth committee of Khedut Morcha either. The government should take appropriate legal action against those who misbehave with women. The National Commission for Women has also taken suo moto in this incident and directed the DGP of Uttar Pradesh to take immediate action in this case.

BJP leader Srikanth Tyagi lives on the ground floor of Grand Omax Society located in Sector 93-B, Noida. He had planted some palm trees outside his house. However, the representatives of the society raised objections against it. He says that this incident is on Friday afternoon. The general secretary of the society, Mahima Joshi, says that Tyagi was told not to plant trees in the common area of the society on Thursday. On Friday, more than 150 people gathered in the common area. A scuffle broke out between Tyagi and the woman when some residents started removing palm trees outside Tyagi's house. The residents then filed a police complaint against Tyagi.
