Changed Indian Railways Toll Free Helpline Number, Find out the details


- All other helpline numbers will be closed with the start of the new number

No need to be distracted by filing any kind of complaint related to railways now. Railways have linked rail Helpline Numbers for the convenience of passengers. The 139 Number has now been announced instead of all the available helpline numbers of Indian Railways. This has made it easier for passengers to remember this number and connect to the railways. Only 139 number can be used to make all kinds of inquiries and complaints during the journey.

According to a railway report, Zonal Railway will not announce a new helpline number or complaint number except 139. The new number will provide unified services to rail users related to safety, complaints, food and beverage and vigilance. All other helpline numbers will be switched off with the launch of the new number.

The 139 number will be available in different languages ​​and will be based on IVRS (Interactive Voice Response System). The basic inquiries related to the train, PNR status, ticket (general and immediate) availability, train arrival, departure, reservation etc. can be obtained by sending an SMS by calling this number.

This number will provide information on canceled schedules, seat availability, ticket cancellations, fares, destination notifications, wakeup calls, on-board services and security.
