Hollywood staple Taraji P Henson proved on Thursday night that she looks much younger than her age.
The 51-year-old actress looked stunning as she showed off her long, toned legs in a sparkly mini dress with a pair of knockout heels during the 11th Annual Nfl Honors at the YouTube Theater in Inglewood, Calif.
The star is best known for playing Cookie Lyon on Empire and will soon star as Shug in The Color Purple.

Taraji’s figure looked impressive in the little black dress which had silver and brown accents that shone under the lights.
Her legs were toned and shiny as she wore strappy black heels with black nail polish.
She held a clutch to match her dress as her long fingernails stood out and she flashed diamond-encrusted rings.
Her hair was worn full and wild with some highlights in the front as she added a powerful red lip.

Henson landed a high-profile role with the movie The Color Purple.
The actress will star as Shug Avery in the musical version of Blitz Bazawule from Steven Spielberg’s 1985 film of the same name.
The next film from Warner Bros. is an adaptation of the award-winning Broadway musical, which is itself an adaptation of Alice Walker’s novel.
The production will be directed by Blitz – known for his work on Beyonce’s “Black is King” – and Marcus Gardley wrote the screenplay based on Walker’s book, Spielberg’s film and the musical.

Oprah Winfrey, who made her acting debut in Spielberg’s adaptation, is producing the new film under her Harpo Films banner. The “Jaws” director is also returning to produce for his company Amblin Entertainment.
Scott Sanders and Quincy Jones – who both produced the Broadway musical – are also involved as the film’s producers.
Taraji joins previously announced cast members Corey Hawkins and award-winning singer HER on the set of the film ahead of its scheduled December 2023 release.

Meanwhile, Taraji once revealed that she always knew she wanted to be an actress and never hesitated on the career path she chose.
When asked if she considered looking for a more stable profession, the “Empire” actress replied, “Never. Time passed. I was 20 and you weren’t afraid of anything back then. I was waiting for my chance. I have never turned down an audition. I didn’t care what it was, I was just hungry. When my father was alive, he wouldn’t allow me to quit. It was not an option.
“Once I had my son, I realized that if I quit, I was teaching him to quit. There were times when I was scared and my dad was there to defend me, like, ‘Hold on, because you don’t see what I see, it happens.’ He had seen my plays, he knew my talent. My mother and my aunt sent me money. There was no space to give up.
