Nigerian music sensation, Davido has reacted hilariously to the Supreme Court judgement which nullified the election of David Lyon, thereby announcing Diri Douye as the Gover-elect of Bayelsa state.

A five man panel of the apex court presided by Justice Mary Peter-Odili nullified the election of Lyon on the grounds that his deputy, Senator biobarakuma Degi-Eremienyo presented false information to INEC in aid of his qualification for the November 16 governorship election in Bayelsa State.

The apex court ordered INEC to issue fresh certificates to the candidates of the party with the next highest votes and with the required constitutional spread of votes in the results of the election, which are the Peoples Democratic Party’s candidates.

As a result of the judgement, PDP’s Diri Douye is set to be inaugurated as Governor of Bayelsa state.

Taking to social media to weigh in on the turn of events, Davido revealed that he was in a club when his uncle lost at the Supreme Court, adding that election in the country is not really about winning.

In another tweet, the singer added: ‘So wait? It’s not even about winning again.. u can actually win get sworn in all and then vamoos ! Chai’
