Light to heavy Rain was reported in various parts of the State on Sunday while the first snowfall of the season was also reported in some high altitude Himalayan regions. The State meteorological centre has again issued a yellow warning (watch) regarding the possibility of thunderstorms accompanied with lightning, intense spells of rain and gusty wind (40-50 kmph) likely to occur at isolated places in the mountains and Udham Singh Nagar district on Monday. In addition to this, light to moderate rain / thunderstorms are likely to occur at many places in Bageshwar, Pithoragarh and Nainital districts, at isolated places in Haridwar district and at a few places in the remaining districts of the State today. The maximum and minimum temperatures are likely to be about 34 degrees Celsius and 23 degrees Celsius respectively in Dehradun today.
