The Bharatiya Janata Party has opined that the Congress is unable to digest the praise chief minister Pushkar Singh Dhami is receiving for development works and transparent law and order system in the State. Responding to the statement made by the Pradesh Congress Committee president Karan Mahara, the BJP State media in-charge Manveer Singh Chauhan said that Dhami is being praised for the better decisions he has taken in the interests of the State. The BJP MPs and MLAs have appreciated the works of the CM while such a scenario can only be imagined in the Congress. A senior Congress leader had also praised Dhami without any inhibitions in the past, Chauhan recalled.

The BJP State media in-charge said, “Other States are studying the anti-copying law and uniform civil code being planned in Uttarakhand. Actions against land Jihad and love Jihad are decisions taken to end the mafia culture in the State. The problem with the Congress is that it has to oppose every decision taken by the State government even when the people are welcoming the very same decisions.”

Chauhan further said that the Congress has been trying unsuccessfully to escalate the Ankita Bhandari case while the CM had himself taken cognisance of the case and gave a free hand to the investigation agencies to take necessary measures from arresting the accused to taking them to court. When it comes to disaster management the government machinery is busy doing the needful and Dhami himself is monitoring the situation, said Chauhan.
