The Bharatiya Janata Party national president JP Nadda will arrive in Uttarakhand on a one-day tour on Sunday. He will preside over the party’s Core Committee Meeting and other programmes in the Haridwar district.

The BJP State media in-charge Manveer Singh Chauhan said that Nadda will start his tour by planting a sapling at the Amrit Vatika in the Rishikul Vishwavidyalaya in Haridwar after which he will participate in the Mann Ki Baat programme of Haridwar Assembly constituency’s booth number 174 in the university’s auditorium. Nadda will then address a programme of the Dev Sanskriti Vishwavidyalaya. The meeting of the party’s State Core Committee will be presided over by the BJP national president at a local hotel from 3 PM to 5 PM. The BJP State president Mahendra Bhatt, chief minister Pushkar Singh Dhami, former chief ministers, MPs and other members of the core committee will be attending the meeting. Nadda will participate in the evening Ganga Arti at Har Ki Paidi and then depart from the Dehradun airport at 9:15 PM, said Chauhan.
