Chief Minister Pushkar Singh Dhami has said that the Abolition of article 370 of the constitution paved the way for the unity of the country from Kashmir to Kanyakumari in the real sense. Terming August 5, 2019 as a historic day, the CM said that the abolition of article 370 resulted in the implementation of the system of ‘ Ek Samvidhan, Ek Nisan Aur Ek Pradhan’ in the country. Effusing praises on the Prime Minister Narendra Modi on the fourth anniversary of the abrogation of article 370, the CM said that the credit goes to PM Modi for this historic step. He said that the people of the country had been waiting since independence for it and the abolition of 370 started a new chapter in the history of the country. Dhami added that the day assumes significance since on August 5, 2020 the foundation stone of the Ram Mandir in Ayodhya was laid. This day was being awaited for long by the followers of Lord Rama, he said.
