BJP MLA Rajkumar Thukral in viral video says that he never seek votes of Muslims. As opposition cries foul, red faced BJP slaps notice on the MLA.

Known for creating controversies, Rajkumar Thukral, the Bjp Mla from Rudrapur in Udham Singh Nagar district has again created trouble for his party. In the latest episode, the MLA is seen addressing a group of people in a video that has gone viral. In this video, Thukral is ostensibly telling his audience that he don’t need votes of any Muslim. He also said that he never visits the house of any Muslim.  When the video went viral, a red faced state unit of BJP promptly sought an explanation from the loud mouthed leader.   

The President of the state unit of BJP, Ajay Bhatt said that the in view of the viral video, the party has served a notice to Thukral in which he has been asked to submit his reply within seven days. He said that the party would decide on future course of action on the issue after receipt of the explanation. Bhatt added that if the MLA fails to reply within the stipulated period of time, the party would be forced to take unilateral disciplinary action.  On a stern note, the President of state unit of BJP said that all party workers including the public representatives should act and behave in accordance with the dignity of the party.

He said that the party firmly believes in the welfare of all sections of society and follows the mantra of Prime Minister Narendra Modi ‘ Sabka Saath, Sabka Vikas’ in the letter and spirit. On the viral video, Bhatt said that whatever the MLA is saying can be his personal thoughts but don’t have any connection with the ideology of the BJP. He added that the BJP don’t believes in any discrimination based on religion, caste, creed, language and region.
