The Uttarakhand Secretariat employees association has convened a meeting of all the Employee associations of the state to pressure the state government. Addressing the media persons here on Wednesday, the president of the association Deepak Joshi said that the Uttarakhand government is consistently taking anti-employee decisions due to which different employee unions are being brought on a single platform.  He further said that all the employees of  the state government are angry over the manner in which allowances are being given by the state government.

He said that the decision of the state government to provide 5 to 9 percent housing allowance is against the understanding reached by the government representatives and different employee organisations.
