Electoral Commission officials are collating results of the by election held in the Ejisu Constituency earlier today, April 30,2024.

3news’ correspondents say the electorates voted at 204 polling stations.

Information available to 3news indicate that results from 146 polling stations have been declared so far.

The provisional results show the candidate of the New Patriotic Party (NPP), Kwabena Boateng in the lead with 56.8% of the votes as against his main contender, Kwabena Owusu- Aduomi’s 42.2%.

Over 100,000 voters cast their ballots to elect one candidate out of the six to replace the late Dr John Kumah who died in March after a short illness.
