Everything shows Bawumia is the man the NPP wants – Alan’s former coordinator

A former Coordinator for Alan Kyerematen in the Ahafo Region, Joseph Dahah, says the outcome of last month’s NPP Super Delegates Conference clearly indicates that Vice President Dr. Mahamudu Bawumia is the man the party wants to lead it in 2024.

Speaking during Dr. Bawumia’s campaign tour of the Region on Tuesday, Joseph Dahah, who coordinated Alan’s 2024 flagbearership campaign, said the NPP is poised to reward the commitment of Dr. Bawumia to the Party, and urged all party members, especially those who supported Alan, to “join the winning team”.

“Yes I was in charge of Alan’s Campaign in the Brong Ahafo Region but since he has announced his withdrawal from the race, any responsible party member who loves the NPP would think about the unity of the party.

“In doing so, one has to look at the direction of the party and follow suit. If you look at the results of the recent Super Delegates election, everything points to the fact that the party really wants our brother Vice President Bawumia.”

The former Alan regional coordinator also appealed to his former pro-Alan colleagues to also join the DMB team.

“To my colleagues, who were working for Alan, there is nothing really wrong if you supported another person in the race. But where we are now, I entreat you all, respectfully, to come on board and support Dr. Bawumia.

“If the man we were all working for has stepped aside, what can we his followers do?

“In the interest of our party, let us all come together and join the winning team and support Vice President so that he can win massively in November to put fear in the NDC and finish them off in 2024.”
