Parliament has held a press briefing on Thursday, June 8 which was addressed by the Majority Leader, Osei Kyei-Mensah-Bonsu and Minority Leader Dr. Cassiel Ato Forson to inform the press of the agenda for the second meeting of the third session.

Some of the issues discussed include the mid-year budget review, Affirmative Action Bill and Intestate Succession Bill, and Property Rights of Spouses.

The Majority Leader stated that 69 Bills and 56 Instruments are expected to be tabled during this meeting.

It was also mentioned that though the list was quite tall this meeting may last for only eight weeks.

This is an event was aimed at engaging the press and enhancing effective information dissemination.
