North Atlantic Right,
An eye blink,
Gaunt “Sea of Darkness”
Big Oil’s
Ear-splitting cannons,
Horror-struck
Doomed whales!
Petroleum’s
Cauldron ocean heat,
Missing phytoplankton
(Vital oxygen-makers!)
Tiny crustacean scarcity,
Famished
Unescorted,
Mother seismic-shocked!
Alone
Morehead, North Carolina
Pier’d protection,
Unfed
Unloved
Undefend’d,
Dearly departed.
Three days,
Forgone century
Shepherding lifespan!
Oceans,
Human health mirror,
Sick, dying, dead
Humanity’s future.

Trees
Seas
Virtuous vegans,
