Chicago Offers $500 Relief Payment To Eligible Domestic Workers And Undocumented Residents

CHICAGO—The Department of Family and Support Services (DFSS) has confirmed that it is still accepting applications for the Resiliency Fund 2.0, which provides Eligible Domestic Workers and undocumented residents in Chicago with a one-time, $500 relief payment.

To be considered for the assistance, applicants must currently reside in Chicago and have a household income that is equal to or less than 300% of the Federal Poverty Level, which amounts to $74,580 for a household of three. No questions will be asked regarding citizenship or immigration status, making the COVID-19 cash assistance accessible to all who meet the eligibility criteria.

The Resiliency Fund 2.0 is an initiative by the DFSS aimed at supporting domestic workers and undocumented residents who have been adversely impacted by the COVID-19 pandemic.
