Biden’s doctor Kevin O’Connor issued the first medical update today noting the President is experiencing “mild symptoms” and “fatigue” from COVID and is taking Paxlovid.

The White House announced this morning that Biden tested positive for COVID. The President’s last previous test for COVID was Tuesday, when he had a negative test result.

“Out of an abundance of transparency, the White House will provide a daily update on the President’s status,” said Press Secretary Karine Jean-Pierre.

All travel has been cancelled for at least the next five days as Biden will be isolating at the White House and will continue to carry out all of his duties via phone and Zoom from the residence.
