Biden Accuses The Saudi Foreign Minister Of Not Telling The Truth

President Joe Biden said he raised the murder of journalist Jamal Khashoggi during a meeting with Saudi Crown Prince Mohammed bin Salman.

The Saudi Foreign Minister contradicted the President by saying he didn’t hear Biden accuse the crown prince of Khashoggi’s murder. Disembarking from Marine One after his trip, Biden accused the Saudi foreign minister was not telling the truth.

Earlier this week, Biden said that at the top of the meeting with bin Salman, he made comments about the murder of Khashoggi.

“I was straightforward and direct in discussing it. I made my view crystal clear,” said Biden.

Asked about the Crown Prince’s response to his comments about Khashoggi, Biden said that bin Salman said that “he was not personally responsible for it.”

Biden said he then indicated to the Crown Prince “that he probably was.”

Jamal Khashoggi’s wife was not pleased with the meeting and said that after this visit, the blood of MBS’s next victim was on Biden’s hands.

“I’m sorry she feels that way,” Biden reacted to her comment. “I was straightforward back then. I was straightforward today,” said Biden pointing out that he did not come to Saudi Arabia to meet with the Crown Prince.

“I came here to meet with the GCC and nine nations to deal with the security and the needs of the free world, and particularly the United States, and not leave a vacuum here, which was happening as it has in other parts of the world.”
